Condition: Wow, what an exciting 1913 Indian gold quarter eagle! Choice BU in our esteem, with an exceptionally strong obverse with some of the cleanest fields we've ever seen on a raw quarter eagle, and a reverse that has just a touch of the typical pre-33 gold scratchiness/bag marks and a small copper spot. If you look close enough and use the right lighting, just about every mint state Indian .50 gold will carry some scuffs and abrasions, and even gems are not immune; the example offered here has a few, but far less than its fair share. Wonderful eye appeal all around, bright and lustrous with attractive color. Strike is robust and precise throughout, as well. A spectacular little gold piece!
