This is a new in the box 1955 Chevrolet passenger car retro fit chrome steering column. This is a retro fit
not
a direct replacement.
You are buying the steering column and the
polished
dress up kit with rag joint for 500 steering box or 605 steering box. Also included is the wiring adapter (1955 specific) Other mounting accessory's are sold separate.  Complete packages available in the store.

1" dd connection at output shaft
original type steering wheel will work but it will leave a gap behind the wheel.
tilt lever, blinker knob and 4 way flasher knob is included. (polished)
wire hook up is for a 75 up steering column (cheater  for 1955 car included american auto wire part number 13593) hooks original harness to this column.
rag joint for 500 or 605 power steering (1"dd-3/4 30 spline)
firewall plate is not included (sold separate)
