Antique German Alpaca Silver Plate Sewing Thimble Needle Thread Case
This is an
Antique German Alpaca Silver Plate Sewing Thimble Needle Thread Case.  Measuring 2" long x 1/2" wide and weighs 15.6 grams.  The top is a thimble with finely detailed decoration marked with the number 17 in a star on the top.  The thimble twists off and reveals a thread dispenser with beige, black and a little white thread.  Take the little cap off the thread dispenser and there is a needle inside the center tube.  Marked on the underside  GERMANY ALPACA.
Condition is very, very good.  Under magnification I was able to see a few pin dot size dings and some light surface scratches.  No other dings, dents or repairs.
