Enables factory features THXII amp when the factory radio is replaced
Retains factory-installed amplified audio system
Retains rear seat entertainment and dual zone audio

Does not retain steering wheel controls in 2011+ F-series trucks. Must use the RP4-FD11 for steering wheel retention.

It will not fit the base model, models with the factory navigation or Platinum models
Will not fit vehicles with Driver Info Button on radio panel
Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth feature, steering wheel controls will not adjust the phone call volume. The phone call volume must be adjusted on the face of the radio. This is a limitation of the radio not the SWI-RC. There is no correction for this unless it comes from Pioneer.
Clarion model CZ500 does not support remote Bluetooth controls
JVC model numbers KW-NT1 and KW-NT3HDT do not support Presets Up and Down from steering wheel controls
Only the AVIC-Z110BT, Z120, Z130 and the AVIC-X920BT, X930BT will support the Voice Recognition function via wired remote input
