For Alpine, JVC, Clarion, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, Valor, OEM, Boyo, Dual, Visteon, Advent & Blaupunkt Radios
Control functions such as volume, mode and track
Radios must be equipped with a wired remote control input
Retains steering wheel control functions when replacing the factory radio
Retains programming even if the vehicle's battery is disconnected
Note:
For Clarion model CZ500, it does not support remote Bluetooth controls
For JVC model numbers KW-NT1 & KW-NT3HDT, it does not support Presets Up / Down from steering wheel controls.
For Pioneer AVIC-Fxxx radios, it do not interpret radio preset seeking commands. This is a limitation of the Pioneer radio not the SWI-RC. There is no correction for this.
For Pioneer radios with Bluetooth feature, the steering wheel controls will not adjust the phone call volume. The phone call volume must be adjusted on the face of the radio. This is a limitation of the Pioneer radio not the SWI-RC. There is no correction for this.
Only the AVIC-Z110BT, Z120, Z130 and the AVIC-X920BT, X930BT will support the Voice Recognition function via wired remote input.

Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) audio is not retained through the speakers in Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicles that are equipped with the Ford SYNC system. The RSE will power up, operate normally & pass audio through the IR headphones; however the audio can not be passed through the aftermarket radio.
