NOTE: Will NOT work with vehicles that have:
GM Chime Control, Onstar, Y91 Premium Bose, VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) Volume that increases / decreases with Vehicle Spee
Vehicles with Rap Feature Present (DATA-Bus / LAN-Bus / CAN-Bus )
Easiest way to identify Rap Feature is radio will continue to play even if key is turned off & pulled from ignition (until a door is opened)
Wire Harness for Installation of radios -Quick and Easy:
Yellow -is for the Memory and is always powered.
Red- is for the ignition, it becomes powered when you turn on your car.
Orange- is a dimming feature not always used.
Black- is the ground.
Connect the Blue wire w/ White stripe (turns on power antenna and /or AMP).
The 8 remaining wires are for speakers (Usually equipped w/ RCAs).
Step #1) RCA Plugs into (RCA output on Aftermarket Stereo).
Step #2) Connect Blue w/ White Stripe Wires together (to power factory amp).
Just color match the wires, one at a time, and you are set.
This plugs directly into factory wiring harness to make it a quick plug & play install.
Aftermarket Harnesses are used to install stereos like: (ALPINE, Blaupunkt, Kenwood, Etc).
Harnesses require no Splicing or Cutting.
