* Overhaul/rebuild started
* Unit disassembled to chassis
* Photos show rebuild process.

* All tube sockets and terminal strips replaced
* All transformers output wiring replaced, end bells re-painted as needed
*  VFO module rebuilt, tested and re-installed on chassis
* VFO ball drive insulated coupler rebuilt
* VFO Ball drive cleaned, lubricated
* New meter switch mounted, not yet wired
* Output coil assembly repaired
* Chassis wiring approximately 60% complete
* Power Transformer and HV Choke re-installed
* Chassis modified for modulation transformer wiring

* Modulator transformer output wiring replaced, transformer installed.
* Replace panel meter input components
* Clean and re-paint panel meter cover
* Install new panel meter input leads ( from the meter switch)
* Fabricate, paint and install ball drive snubber assembly
* Install VFO frequency pointer
* Replace VFO Frequency dial sub-panel edge gasket
* Test +300V regulator circuit
* Test solid state drive assembly
* Test VFO output
* Install VFO shroud
* Install top chassis horizontal shield
* Install bottom chassis band switch shield ( Ranger II only).
* Test PTT and VFO input switch circuits
* Install two-pin offset microphone connector
* Fabricate and install microphone connector shield assembly
* Install PA loading switch capacitors
* Fabricate and install HV filter capacitor assembly ( 50uf/900VDC, with bleeder resistors( 300K, 3W).
* Test HV circuit for shorts and for correct resistance to ground .
* Power Output and modulation tests.
* Metering test
* Modulation test with shop desk microphone
* Modulator Idle IP set to book value
* PTT tests
* Rebuild Complete
* Unit complete with cabinet, rear panel jumper plug. No Other Accessories
* Unit shipped with some tubes, jumper plug, line fuse cap removed and packaged separately in shipping carton
