    Description

    I recently purchased these wings from the estate of a 95 year old man who collected militaria since WWII. He served in the RAF during WWII and personally met several WASPs while on duty in the United States. Many of the items in his collection were given to him by these pilots. I will provide the high bidder with the name and information of this collector.
    This is a WASP wing hallmarked LGB Sterling. The wing was issued to Class W-3. These wings are in used condition and measure 3 inches in length. These are original wings as seen in the book WASPs - Women Airforce Service Pilots of World War II by Vera S. Williams (Page 56). I have posted pictures of this book and page 56 showing an example of these wings.
    My starting bid is low with no reserve. I will not end my auctions early so I can provide everyone with an opportunity to bid. This auction is for the wings only and does not include the book used in the pictures.
