This auction is for a Vintage Chicago Fire Alarm Station Call Box, with no reserve. The box shows wear, has some nicks and scratches, the top right corner tip of the roof is missing, the door has no key and the lock is plugged, the mechanism does work fine, when the hook lever is pulled down, the mechanism ticks and appears to send the signal of box 513. The front door also reads, "Dept of Gas and Electricity". I will ship the alarm box with the top screw in plug inside of the alarm box, you will just have to screw it back in. I do that so it does not poke through the packing box. This box may have been cleaned and repainted, I am not sure. It is not mine. High bidder to pay shipping of .10-.70, depending on zone location.
