    Description

    You are bidding on a matching pair (2) of hand painted made in Japan mugs from around the 1930s. Has a transfer logo on front that says Old Kentucky Root Beer and has a man walking next to a horse. The texture is a wood grain look and the ceramic is nicely glazed. There are some rough feeling edges around the bottom rim but nothing I would call a "chip", just minor imperfections. There are no cracks but maybe some mars and scuffs from use and age. Upon close inspection you can see light crazing but it is hard to notice with the design. This is a nice size mug, approximately 4 in high and 4 1/2 in wide including the handle. The mouth opening is approximately 2 1/2 in diameter.
