This auction is for a great vintage, if not antique sewing, mending or darning kit ~ perfect for the sewing notion collector.  This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at the recent rural Kansas estate auction. This listing:
this piece appears to be made of hard plastic or maybe Bakelite
pin and cream in color ~ the pink has faded in one area ~ see photo
has thimble on top with a hair line crack or maybe a mold line ~ I could not get to show in photos so fine
inside is s rod with tiny spools of thread
a great piece to tuck into your purse or handbag
it stands 3 1/2 inches tall
surely dates to the early to mid 1900s
appears to have been stored for years
