Vintage Used Hallmark Birthday Card Fan Dancer Girl Burlesque Feather 1950s

Description

Vintage (around the 1950s) Hallmark birthday card featuring a cartoon fan dancer, with a pink feather as the fan. Signed in pen inside  above the word "Many", and has some dark spots caused by the glue used to keep the feather in and keep the two sides of the narrower curtain part of the card together and tight (it's the type of card that is one piece of paper folded over on itself); with age, it seems the adhesive discolored the paper even through the paper that was glued together and to the inside/back portion (you can see the brown spot on the stage, which corresponds exactly to the part of the curtain section that is glued, and part of the dancer's stomach is slightly toned from the glue where the feather is as well). There is also a small circular stain around the upper-right corner of the front section of the card, perpendicular to the question marks, up near the edge of the card...there is no adhesive inside the card in this part, so I believe it is a separate stain. Otherwise, the card is in excellent condition. Measures about 4" x 5.25" when closed.
