This is a very Special set of WWII 10kt Gold Navy Wings worn By Lt. Commander Travis Lattner Comer,JR during his service with the Navy from 1941 -1945. If you look closely at the bottom right of the photo, you can see the faint image of him wearing the wings. They weigh .45 Oz which when I looked it up, the melt value alone is about 5.00. I would never even think about melting these wings. Condition is considered “Used" , but they have not been worn for over
