    Description

    Yaesu FT-747GX HF Ham Radio Kit/Bundle
    This bundle includes everything needed for radio operations, except an antennae. The following four components are included.
    1. Yaesu FT-747GX Transceiver
    The Yaesu FT-747GX is a compact HF transceiver covering 160 to 10 meters amateur bands in SSB, CW and AM and FM Modes. Please note the FM mode is included, which was optional.
    It also features a double conversion general coverage receiver that tunes from 100 kHz to 30000 kHz. Other enhancements include:  Squelch, Noise Blanker, Attenuator, CAT port, and 20 memories.
    It comes standard with a 6 kHz, 2.2 kHz and 500 Hz filters. Power is 100 watts PEP/DC SSB/CW (AM 25W).
    The rear panel has an SO-239 antenna jack, carrier adjustment pot and other I/O locks.
    2. MH-1B8 Up/Down Hand Microphone
    The MH-1 B8 Hand Mic has a 600ohm impedance, and includes UP/DWN scanning buttons and a large PTT switch.
    The MH-1 B8 also has a 2-position transmit audio characteristic selector.
    3. Yaesu 757GX Switching Power Supply

    . It provides 13.5 VDC at up to 20 amps (50% duty cycle at 20 A less than 30 seconds).
    For 100% continuous duty operation the current capacity is 10 amps. Input voltage is selectable at either 85-132VAC or 170-264 VAC. Ripple is 600mV p-p at 20 A. The rear panel has a removable AC cord.
    There is a hard-wired DC output cord to a Molex plug. Additionally, there are low amperage screw terminals (under 10A) for operating accessory items.
    To change the input voltage, remove the fuse (5A) panel jack on the rear panel and adjust jumpers per the directions. 9.5 x 1.5 x 9.5 inches 4.4 lbs.
    4. Am-Com ClearSpeech(R) Digital Speaker Model CSS-1
    The NCT CSS-1 is a quality mobile speaker with built-in DSP noise reduction and amplification (2W). The rear panel has hardwired 12 VDC (3 Amps) input and hardwired audio input to a 3.mm mono mini plug.
    Power is supplied by the 757-GX at 13.5v and reduced to 12v with the included Radio Shack dongle.
    There is also an auxiliary speaker output jack.
    Owner's manual, carrying case and antennae are not included. Manuals may be found online.
